WHY TAKE THE ACT?
Today’s college admissions have become highly competitive and it is important that each student utilizes every opportunity for success. Often, students who do not naturally test well on the SAT more accurately reflect their potential on the ACT, since the ACT has some structural differences. Colleges and universities generally accept either the SAT or the ACT with the completed writing section.
Though the SAT and ACT are similar, each of the tests has its own rules and best methods for success. Our ACT preparation course is comprehensive in nature, and three-tiered in approach. The first tier consists of a content area review of subject areas covered on the ACT, including English, reading, math, and science. The second tier consists of four diagnostic tests that identify a student’s strengths and weaknesses. Our proprietary Exam Analysis Engine personalizes how students can improve in specific areas. The third tier consists of test taking strategies specific to the ACT.
